The keys are similar to the microkorg in feel and build, and they are velocity sensitive, but they are not semi-weighted. The pads are velocity and pressure sensitive something many controllers of this size and price range do not have. The drum pads are very responsive carrying a similar feel to the maschine mk2 drum pads and the classic akai mpc. The software package included is hard to beat given the price. All of the keys, knobs, and pads are very responsive and well designed.
